A real native terminal
Your shell, your dotfiles, your tools. Glass Terminal runs a native macOS PTY instead of pretending to be one in a web view.
A beautiful, native terminal for Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, OpenCode and the way vibe coders actually work.
Built around the tools already in your workflow
Real desktop transparency
Not a flat dark theme with a glass label. Your wallpaper, editor and agent workspace remain visibly present behind the terminal.

✦ Claude Code
I can still see the editor context behind this terminal.
Transparency stays cinematic without losing contrast.
~/glass-terminal
Go cinematic or dial it back for a denser coding session.
Your desktop stays recognizable without fighting the text.
One click removes transparency whenever focus needs to win.
The terminal, upgraded
Glass Terminal keeps the power of the command line and adds the small layer of polish AI-assisted coding has been missing.
Your shell, your dotfiles, your tools. Glass Terminal runs a native macOS PTY instead of pretending to be one in a web view.
Save recent project folders, choose your coding agent and start in the right context without another cd command.
Cinematic transparency when you want it. A focused solid mode when the code needs your full attention.
Missing agents install visibly through their official packages. The Agent Center reopens when setup is complete.
From folder to flow
Recent projects, visible CLI setup and version-aware launch modes turn the terminal into a clean command surface for your daily work.
Choose a local folder and Glass Terminal remembers it as a recent project on this device.
Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode stay separate, local-first tools with their own accounts.
New, continue, resume, plan, fork and review only appear when your installed CLI version supports them.
Agent Center
Glass Terminal detects the CLIs installed on your computer, can launch their official installers in a visible terminal and gives each one a clean, project-aware starting point.
claude→codex→gemini→opencode→Local means local
Glass Terminal has no product backend. The optional Agent Bridge stays on 127.0.0.1, is off by default and keeps risky actions behind explicit permission modes.
